What model of kicker will work on these balers? Did they all have the drive shaft setup for a kicker? I would like to stay with the mechanical version.

Thanks,

Mark

The mechanical kicker that was used with the 24T was the #2 Ejector. Later models of 24T used a hydraulic kicker, most likely the #30 Ejector.

You should still be able to find #2 Ejectors (especially if you're located in the Midwest), although it might take structural parts from a couple to make a good usable one (or some welding). Most of the wearing parts, however, such as bearings, shock absorbers, etc., are still available from John Deere.

Hope this helps--let me know if you've got any other questions.

I don't suppose you're near North Dakota?

I have 2 mechanical kickers for 24T's, although I have no idea of the model numbers.

Bob,

I'm from Missouri. I suppose one of those things would be too bulky to ship.
