Herschel Quick Cut?

I recently bought a NH 114 hydra swing from a NH credit sale (dealer liquidation). It has some kind of quick cut sickles in it. Ive got a grain platform w/ herschel tiger jaws and stub guards, but that isnt what this is. The sections are 2 in wide bolt in and the guards are more of a standard wrap around tip version. 3 tips per guard. The only identification ive found on the sickle is the circle H herschel logo on the sections. Ive talked to several NH dealers and none of them have heard of this sickle. Internet searchs also dont bring up much help. So my questions are; Where can i find parts? and Is it worth finding parts for? I hate to spend the $700 on new sickles, heads, sections, guards. Thank you in advance.

I am a Herschal-Adams dealer(ie. herschel tiger jaw sickle). I checked through my dealer catalogs and found nothing even close. Your sickle is defininatly made by another manufacturer. I would personally just scrap the whole sickle. If you are located in central Iowa I'm sure I could sell you a replacement sickle from Herschel cheaper than New Holland.

I used New Holland haybines for over 30 years and I found out early in the game $700 for guards and sicle from Hew Holland is cheap, I never found an after market that would stand up like New holland.
