oh my god you answered you own question NH 275 shear bolts this don't mean hardware store bolts this means use New Holland shear bolts with NH lock nuts they are made fore this reason
they will not come loose in one day after thousands of bales maybe but you will shear it long before it dose or your not working verry hard

shim the flywheel so that it can't move front to back verry much if you are using newholland shear bolts

Lock nuts will help with the problem, tho one of the other messages probably contains the _cause_ of the problem.

Not sure, anyone ask if the shear pin holes are worn oblong, that lets the pin wobble & causes the bolt to loosen as well.

With the shear bolt out can you move the flywheel from front to back? We had a 276 NH that kept shearing bolts, shimming the flywheel so that it couldn't move front to back cured it.

Had a baler like that years ago that drove me nuts. Could not figure it out. Finally figured out the input shaft that the flywheel rides on was slightly bent. Check it out. Steve

Are you using the proper nut on the shear bolt? Is there wear in the drive casting?

Are you using a washers on either end and a lock washer on the nut end of the shear bolt?
