I have included a link to a ebay item that is something I have been looking for. it is a john deere field harvester #6 it is too far away from me as I am located in NC and currently deployed to Iraq. I am due back in the Fall and I want to find one of these to go behind my JD 50. If anyone has any information on where I might find one closer to Jacksonville, NC I would appreciate it. JarHead

Don't have a JD, but I do have an older Gehl and a Fox that would go nicely behind your 50. I am in Columbia, SC if you want to give me a shout. And thanks from me too for doing what you are doing in Iraq! Be safe!

Jim

Thank you for serving our country. The JD #6 field chopper was popular maybe forty or so years ago, so it is getting difficult to find them. I would concentrate a search in dairy states, or in areas of states where cows were more popular than hogs or grain farms. Likely to be a fencerow item, and most likely to have only a corn head on it.

Dear Jarhead,

I'm not familiar with your particular piece of equipment. However, I'm sure I am not alone, in wanting to thank you, and all the men and women that are over there daily, to keep our Great Country safe. We really appreciate you.

Godspeed, Matt
