I got a 6-row Cyclo IH-400 setting back in the woods. All the closing disks {and everything else} are still on it. When I got my Cyclo 800 I just parked the 400 back there. {The 800 is also for sale too... I know... I shouldn't mention something for sale on this forum!} Also I disassembled an 8-row Cyclo 400 and may have most of the parts around somewhere. The parts are worn but still functional. There were some problems with the closing disk arms. The factory arms had a square hole cast in the pivot arm and then they used a round bushing in the square hole for a pivot. As the square hole wore to "round" {and the bushing wore to square} the arm gets really sloppy and would/will shift sideways, and the closing disk would/will end up riding in the row {cocked to the side}. One problem that I had using the IH Cyclo 400 was that the factory IH fertilizer "double-disk" setup will furrow a trench right next to the seed row. The closer disks and press wheels would not make up for the furrowed out row. I had the same problem on the 800, until I replaced the fertilizer double-disks with Yetter fertilizer coulter units {single disk units}. That made a world of difference in covering the seeds!!! Do you have an email addy? Where are you from? I used my addy on here one time, and I get all sorts of crap at that addy now! But what the heck!
