IJust drug home a 1 bottom 16"JD sulky plow, it is stamped "158", (or maybe its "168") on the beam. The strange thing about it is that it throws the furrow to the left. Whats up with that?

I know those loony limeys drive on the wrong side of the road, maybe this is a plow (or "plough" in the Queen's English) made for export to the Commonweath where they probably till backwards too???

Anyone out there that might be able to identify this plow, I sure would appreciate hearing about it!

Dale,

I know more about mowers than plows but I'll put my 2 bits worth in anyways.

What you have is a John Deere left hand sulky plow. Thay are not as common as the right hand ones. I have pair John Deere walking plows. One is a left hand and the other is a right hand. They make a nice looking pair at shows. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of yours. It would look good with my John Deere right hand plow.

My 2 bits worth,

Old Iron
