Who is selling what and who is making what today when it comes to NH and NI and Case-IH small squares, rakes and round balers. Are these units cross-referencable?

Current CaseIH balers (SBX I think is the series) are the same as New Holland balers. New Idea balers are center-line balers, which are Hesston designed. AGCO is marketing these under the Hesston, New Idea, and possibly in some places outside of USA, Massey Ferguson brands. Before New Holland and CaseIH merged, the CaseIH balers were also center-line, and were the same as Hesstons. Back around 1986, Hesston and CaseIH started a joint-venture called Hay & Forage Industries to build these balers, plus many other machines, for distribution by both companies. However, the Federal Trade Commission said that New Holland would not be allowed to retain both its own hay line and CaseIH's half share of H&FI, so AGCO became sole owner of H&FI, and CaseIH started selling NH balers. Clear as mud?
