Inherited this disc with the farm - had to cut a couple 4" ash trees that were growing through it to get it out of the grove. New wheel bearings and we're ready for the field (plus 2 tubes of grease in the gangs). One of the hubs had IH logos on the head of the studs - any idea what make and model this guy is?

I'm new to farming for myself, but making a stab at it on my 15 acres. What else should I do to this disc?

Thanks,
Eric

I'm pretty sure that is a International model 37 or 370 wheel disk. All I have ever used a disk for is to "work" ground and prepare a seedbed for whatever you want to grow. Not sure what else you could use one for.

It appears to be an IH no. 37 wheel disc. I was
comparing it with the one in the photo in the book '150 years of International Harvester'It was introduced in 1961.
