I recently purchased a MH Pony with a Detroit Harvester Highway Mower No. 41 on it. I am looking for information, manuals, guards with a DH on them and cutters with an X on them. Anyone know anything about this company? I talked to some older local gents and they thought the plant was an Int. Harvester plant, so I don't know if they are mistaken or the place was bought out. Anyway I have a DH sickle mower setup and I am looking for parts and info. Thanks.

All I know about Detroit Harvester is that they made some sickle mowers for JI Case in the late '40s, early '50s. I recall that Detroit made a mower for either Ferguson or Dearborn (maybe both) during the same era. So aftermarket parts should be available, but won't have the DH or X on them.
