I have old stuff setting around outside for years, like new holland stomper, case hand tie, combines, corn pickers, thrashing machine, wc tractors, etc.
Is there any demand for this stuff? With the high scrap price, maybe the best thing would be to call out a big scraper to buy and cut it up.

Put it up on ebay, see what it brings. Try to estimate what it will bring as scrap iron and start the bidding there. If it doesnt sell load it up and have it melted. If any of it has 'collectable' value someone will spot it and bid it.

Some of of that "junk" might be valuable to a collecotr. Example..... I was at a antique tractor consignment auction yesterday and some guys brought in some old tractor rear wheels. When they were asked what they came off of, the reply was... "we do not know, we are cleaning up the place and these have been sitting outside for many years".
Turned out they were some rare John Deere Wheels and they got a $900 bid for their junk wheels.
Good thing they did not cut them up for scrap!

I'm sure there are some good pieces among your junk equipment. And I'm sure a lot of it turely is junk too.

well,,,,,my dad said that they used to find arrow heads by the gallon bucket full per day when they plowed behind a mule. they had so little value that they gave them away. hit and miss engines had so little value that they were sold as junk. model "T" were junked. so in a way i'd say "no" that old junk has no value,,,to you. advertise it in the classified adds at this site, you will get some bites. i remember talking to a fellow from up north telling about his father busting up ice boxes for fire wood. they bring around $1000 each now. if his dad had stored a hundred of them,,,,
