Does anyone know who sells a 3 point hitch 2 row corn planter. Any idea on price. From what i am seeing no one makes them anymore. I would like to find a new one since the old beat up 2 row planters go for around 500$ at auctions. What about vegetable planters will they plant corn. Any idea on their price??? i have a ford naa. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks jay

Well, you can spend as much as you want, vacuum units, no-till, etc. can get pretty pricy.
If you want to spend the bucks, look at this link, either Pequea or MaterMacc.
Otherwise I would keep looking for an older plate type planter, Cole, JD, Ford or whatever.

I believe you can still buy new JD 71 units. You can bolt as many as you want on a toolbar.

Check the archives. There is guy from I belive Indiana or Illinois (not sure) who builts them from JD 4 and 6 row units. They are for sale in the photo ads occationally. You are right about the $500. At an auction yesterday, a JD 290 2 row (hadn't been used in years) sold for $475. A JD 494A in better shape sold for $150.
