Years ago my father bought an old one way turning plow. He is gone now. I would like to try and identify and possibly recondition one day. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I live in S.E. Texas and the plow was bought in Central Texas. It has four big discs approx. 20" in diameter. We used it to level land after bulldozers cleared it.

Logan, Look at the cast parts on this plow. There probable will be castings enbossed on thoes parts.
Most likely it is an old Deere or IH plow.
OBTW down here in Texas, The 3 & 4 bottom Disk turning plow is as common as the 2 & 3 bottom moldboards up north. Same opperation just 2 ways to get there. The disk plow fans I knew belived that a disk plow pulled easier that the moldbord style. I uncovered my email if I can be of futher help!

Athens in Tennessee was also a major manufacturer of disc plows.
