I am "designing" a PTO powered attachment which needs to be driven by a 5/8" vee belt. A perfect solution would be a 12" diameter B pulley which mounts on the PTO shaft of the tractor.

Anybody know of an implement which used something similar to this which would give me a starting place to look for a new/used pulley?

Buy a Browning (or similar) cast iron pulley the size you need, that accepts tapered hubs, and then get a tapered hub with the proper inside spline for your PTO shaft.

If you need more info, email me and I'll get you some numbers to ask for at an industrial bearing store.

I had one from an Allis B under belly mower. Can't find it and now I need it. Is there a PTO slip on that has a flange rather than a square, so that a V pulley could be bolted to it?

belly mount mowers like a Woods brand or side mount mowers use PTO belt pulleys.
