What size should the original disks have been on this disk? They are currently 15" front and on average 14" in the back. Where these good disks?
Also a pipe wrench is needed to spin the gangs, this is a lot different than some of the other disks I've looked at. Are the bearings getting bad?

Huthut,Though I am not familar with Kewaunee disks the basic still apply. The disk size can be changed from original. To find out the original you will need to find a dealer and go through the shop manuels,
The distance from the center shaft to the bottom of the cross beam that the Gang Hangers mount to, will give you the half size of the disk you need. up to the max diameter. ie...the distance is 11.5 in.,...the max disk is a 22 in disc that the plow will accomidate.
Yes, it sounds like you have got bearings going out on your disk. Best do all, on each gang, you can't turn by hand. If you only do one bearing the others are usually not far behind the one going out..
Later,
John A.
