Will my jubilee pull 16 inch 2 bottom plow?

Will my jubilee pull a set of allis chalmers 16" two bottom plows? Will i need to put some weight on the front. My neighbor has a set he will sell me for 50$. From what i understand the plow depth should be set 8"s deep for 16" plows. Could i just set them a few inches shallower? I am a first timer so any suggestions would be of great help. Thanks Jay

can always take off rear plow, i did it on a set of ih plow chief and it worked great. i like to plow deep and don't have fluid in my tires.

i pull a john deere 2-16 with mine, 1st gear... 6 to 7 inches deep,, i have the cover board att. also & this helps to complete the turn over of the soil.... If your then disk try to go in the same dirrection as plowing for the first disking.

If you were talking about a Ford 101 plow I would say definately yes. Different plows pull different. Is the AC plow pull type or 3pt?If it is pull type you'll probably need rear weight. If it is 3 pt. you can pull it if it is scoured and adjusted properly. AC also made snap coupler plows and you can't use one of these. If it is 3 pt. get someone who understands 3pt. plows to help you adjust it. There is kind of a knack to it.
