There are some small differences in these two balers. First the 530 has a single twine arm and the 535 has a double, so it is twice as fast tying. The springs on the side are different, the 530 has heavier springs. The monitors are some different, the 535 has a few more alarms and a different monitor. All in all they are very simular balers though. We ran a 530 for years and it was a very good baler. We now have a 567 mega wide pickup baler and it is light years ahead of the 530. All the big JD balers are really good though.

That's a good question. I'd be interested in the answer also. I know they both put up a mighty fine bale and sellers of the equipment know it.
