Just bought DMI plow and don't know where to go to get parts other than somebody said it was bought out by CNH. It is a 5 bottom variable width trip bottom plow. Heavy! Need to know What plow shares and shins will fit this plow or who manufactured them for DMI. Any info will be appreciated. Thankyou, Jerry

DMI was purchased by CNH. The factory is still in Goodfield IL which is roughly 10 miles east of Peoria.

You will find DMI dealers on every street corner here in Minnesota. Most popular fall tillage implement is their ripper/ heavy disk chisel thing - whatever it's called these days. (Locally it's just called DMI'ing the ground....) Didn't even know they made a molboard plow tho!

Ryan and Paul,
It still amazes me, all the people from this area that are on these discusion boards. I am also in Mankato. But Ryan, my tractors are green, not red. Back to the original question, Smiths Mill Implement is another place to get DMI parts. Phone number is (507) 234-5191.

Loren MN. Thanks for that number too. I called DMI and asked about the DMI plow and they told me to call Star Manufactur , And I called them and they said they had built stuff for DMI but my plow was history. I asked about books for plow at DMI and they had said they had none. They all went to Star. I asked Star if they had books on plow since DMI told me they had sent everything over to Star. The fellow said they had lied to me, Star never recieved anything from DMI in the way of books. Only things they had were the prints for producing the plow and it would be cheaper for me to go buy another plow than to try to have them retool for parts to this plow. But he did inform me that there were two styles of plow bottoms on DMI plows. One style is patterned after Oliver and the other was DMI design and that one I am sol. Now I hope these plow bottoms are Oliver style, Share is 24" long with 3 bolts in them. In a straight line going through center of all bolt holes to front edge, is 3 1/2", 9", and 14". (Raining hard and bottoms standing in water, and this is what I saw at that moment I was trying to measure them). Thanks again fellows for input. Jerry

Had a 1955 JD 50 (restored). Sold that to my sister last fall. Now have a 1956 JD 60, that my grandfather bought new. In the process of restoring, and using. Also have a 1950 JD A (actually my son owns this one) that my dad bought new. Restoration will start once the 60 is done. Loren
