IH No. 46 disk or JD RWA which was a better disk.?

Look for feedback on good older wheel disks 10-14'. JD RWA seems to be the easiest to come by with some IH,Oliver, and JD BW available to for a bit more money. If anyone has one of these types of disks for sale in central WI let me know.

guys thanks for all the feedback. The RWA doesn't seem to be the preferred choice. The IH 37 and 46 seem to be a bit in their construction, however they seem to be the preferred disk. I have also found a pretty nice JD BWA disk that looks alot heavier for a few hundred dollars more. New question JD BWA or IH 46 disk?????

I agree with everyone else! I'm an Oliver guy, but it's sure hard to beat an IH disc.

I've had JD's there junk if you want a disc. I've got a oliver now & I can't wait to get rid of it Next year I'll have a IH

Mark,I have used an 11' JD RWA disc,and now have a 11' oliver disc.The oliver does a MUCH better job than the JD disc,HTH,Bob.

I have limited experience with different brands, but I've always heard JD disks ridged worse than other brands. Red disks seem to bring more money locally. Also the JD disks with the pipe frame that swivels with small chain anchors on the rear (don't know the model #) is royally cussed by all at farm sales here.
