Would someone have an operator's manual for this, OR give me the settings to set it...??

My friend has this and has broken 2 pto shafts, last year...has NO manual for it..
It brakes just behind the rear universal joint..
Sounds like it should be lower in the front, to straighten out the pto shaft a little..
Nice looking rake, but he don't trust it..!!
Thanks...!!
Ron.

You want it adjusted so it is lower in the front, just so the fingers are about 1-2" off the ground,so you are only raking/tedding the hay once. If it is set level it will want to spool hay around the baskets, dig in the ground and not do a very good job. Another thing to check is pto binding when raised, you may have to set your upper stop so it doesn't raise to full height, and break the joint. This may be what was happening with the previous owner. It is made to be used on a smaller 20-40 hp tractor.
