I bent the pto shaft that I use to hook up my 5' KK bush hog to my Farmall H. Anyone know a good place to buy a new one online?
Thanks,
Gary

King Kutter sells parts on line at kingkutter.com. $170 for a standard shear pin drive line.

If you can weld they sell just the tupeing you need to fix your problem, you cut out the ends and weld the new tube back in I've done it and a number off ptos. Also most tractor places have PTO shafts.

I've fixed a few shaves that way.On some you will be able to knock a pin out and replace the entire shaft. On some others you may need to cut the old shaft off. When you cut the shaves make sure you cut them square and leave an inch or so of the old shaft with the u-joint. Slip the new female shaft over the old male shaft and slip the new male shift into the old female shaft and weld.
If you are lucky the u-joints and couplers are OK. There are the costly part of a PTO shaft.

Slick idea on leaving the opposite $ex stub and welding up that way. Should be as good as a factory original..... that is if the guy can weld.
(humor)

Geez I had to edit the s out of $ex to get this by the filters. Kim keeps a tight rein on us.
