Does any one have any knowledge of getting these mesquite roots out for the ground out here in Texas. I was thinking of buying a root plow for my 65 hp tractor.

Root plows are ok for a 65hp tractor ??? hard to pull maybe after a rain I live in San Marcos. At some auction the root plow goes for $400-$500. The backhoe is what I use & remedy & diesel will kill them also you can get it at tractor supply.Just cut them down & spray remedy. Bought a D6D to do a little clearing.

I am near you fellows.Fredericksburg.On the place I bought previous owner had mowed mesqite for years.I went for a backhoe. Each year a new little tree emerged, size of my finger. When I dug them up with the hoe found most had roots 3 " to 4" in diameter and 15 feet long.
