There is one coming up at a auction this Friday. Will it fit on a John Deere 4200, 26 HP, with hydraulics? If not, what will it fit on? How much will it cost? Thanks in advance.

How good are you with a torch and welder. We had a Shaver that dad made fit on the 3 pt of a 3020 JD. Neighbor has one on a A JD.

They are a good pounder.

Don't know whether your 4200 has close center Hyd. I know on the 3020 the return on the hydraulics had to be dumped to the resovoir instead of going back through the outlet. Reason for this is that the JD close center system has charge pump pressure on the return side of the valve. Not a problem until you try to use one way cylinder.

good luck buying.

It should fit the tractor if the pins are the right size. The one I have is CAT 2 and I'd say a 26 hp has CAT 1.

Price is real subjective to area of the US. Here well used typically bring over $1000 and decent ones bring new price. I sold a worn out Danhauser (hydro motor) for $835 at a consignment sale last week.
