I just bought a MF 12 baler...anyone know the minimum HP tractor to use for satisfactory results?

Our Massey 165 w/ continental gas(about 48 hp) ran our baler fine, with enough power to pull a 8'x16' hay wagon. We usually use our 285(about 85 hp), but the pto was out and we needed it in a pinch. Worked better than we ever could have imagined. Now it's our 1st choice if our 285 is down.
A Massey 135 should be able to run it or equivalent tractor no problem

Factory manual states "30 hp or more @540 rpm"
