I just bought this mower from a neighbor and he said its been sitting in his back field for about 40 years. I would like to find an owners manual and any other info that pretains to this mower, like what is the color scheme and history, and what ever other info that I might be able to use. This is my first piece of farm equipment that I have bought. The serial # is M1475! I also have pics but I'm not sure how to send them with this message.

Jim, congrates on your purchase. Hope someone will line you up w/info/manual. As far as the picture posting, I went to the archives and typed 'how to post a picture'. Followed the directions, but all I get is a box with a red X in it. You may have better luck. Neat isn't it - to rescue a vintage piece of agricultural equipment.

Yes it is neat to rescue a piece of agricultural equipment and the best part it only cost $20.00. I brought it by an older gentleman's place and he said with a little oil and some TLC I could start cutting hay as soon as the snow melts here in Maine and the hay starts growing. Thanks for your responce. Jim Muise.
