I'm repainting a 555-H JD plow and I am wondering what color the moldboards are. Are they black or green?

I know I bought my plows along time ago, but mine came with backs of the 55 moldboards painted green, and on the 555 they were painted black.

The back side and edges of the moldboard should be painted green. The front, working surface should be painted with JD Slip Plate. It is a black or dark charcoal gray graphite based paint like substance. It comes in spray cans at the JD dealre. It protects against rust but will not prevent the surface from shining up during plowing. Regular paint on the working surface of the moldboard will cause excess drag and not shed dirt correctly.

I have been told they should be green because thats the way they came from the factory. I have seen many painted black too. If it was my plow, I would paint them Green.
