Where can I find this type rotary mower?

The tires are regular implement 15" 4 ply rib pneumatic, so you have a smoothe ride and it just humms when it runs; very quiet. The oil in the gearbox is honey colored and the gear box is covered to keep the elements out. It has a slip clutch on the drive shaft.

I have terraces, hated to scalp, and wanted my pasture to look like my lawn.

Don't need it now as I bale my pasture.

I am in N.Texas if you are interested. If you aren't far, we can discuss it; otherwise shipping fees would be significant as compared to what it costs. I paid $700 (used) for it use a couple of years ago. That is high for a shredder, but this is not a shredder, and this will go where the finish mowers won't because I investigated them when I bought this. The pasture is too rough for those tiny wheels. We could negotiate some kind of a deal if you're interested.

I guess it gets it's name from it's smoothness and high speed blade tips.

Age? Paint orig but weathered. Orig decals still in place. As I said, the gearbox is clean as a whistle inside; no rust and all. No fluid leaks. Some dings in the decks where previous owner hit small rocks. It is a drag type. 3 pt would defeat the purpose as is the case in most conventional mowers. Smoothest PTO drive of any drag I ever experienced.

The wheels are between the mower and the fence if you are doing the fence. So if you want to trim the fence, you will have to come back with something else. A mower designer has to put them somewhere if you are going to follow the contour of the terrain and clip down to 1" and not scalp or gouge the dirt.

I'll be around this weekend. If not answering the phone will check messages and emails. Come and look and I will even give you a test drive....No used dealer (around here) will do that. You buy from them and just hope it does what you want. And I am not a dealer. Thing is just sitting here and someone needs to be using it. Course I have $700 in it that I'd like to see some of also.

Not in a hurry, but would appreciate some sort of estimate as to when to expect you to decide so that I can take the (my) body out of the "standby" mode.
