How much for a 3pt disk

I have a Ford 3pt disk that is 10ft.Has some new blades,shafts and the rest of the blades look good.Just got done painting it.Wondering what should i charge for it. I see new 7ft going for $795 new. Seen a used 10 ft. going for $400 but it needs new blades.Do you think $800 would be to
much or less?

Around these parts, 3 point disc's don't sell real well, unless they're in the 6 to 7 foot range. (Garden size) I buy new 6-1/2' ones, add longer axles, and more disc pans, and convert them into 8'ers. I can do that for under $625. They sell at dealers for around $1000. I sell them for $850 to $900. I've sold 4 of them in the last year. The dealer I buy from sells 30 to 40 6-1/2'ers a year. Most everyone that uses a 10'er would go with a "wheel disc". John

Exactly. Location is everything on these types of items. Locally, would be lucky to get an offer of $100, people would run if you asked $800! :) Can buy all I'd want for $75-100 at auctions, but most have been/ are being melted - I see lots of loads of scrap go by the past month! Going to be less old iron for us to look at by the time the Chineese get done buying this round.

FWIW,
I bought a 10ft IH Model 37 Transport Disk for $100. Needed some front blades. I sure like it alot better than the smaller disk (6ft) I had before. Been looking for a cheap 8-10ft 3pth just for firebreaks. Kinda hard swinging that transport disk thru the woods :)

If you really need to move it you can probably ask $500 and it would be gone pretty quick. JMHO but at $800 me personally I would go looking for a good used transport disk or a used fold up disk, cut the wings off and have tons of spare parts. Not telling you your business just my thought processes.
