Just got a hesston 1070 haybine at a sale today. Seems in good condition. Does anyone know anything about these? What years were they built, good/bad points?? Where cen we get a manual??

I have a 1071 and I love it is a great machine, just be sure to do the maintance on them. I would think you could get a manual from a dealer.

What's the difference between the 1070 and 1071? I think it's the same but the 1071 has a hydraulic hitch??

Some 1071's may have hydraulic hitchs but mine don't so I doubt that is the difference. My 1071 is a 78 model..... ...
