Round baler behind a 400case?

I've never delt much with round balers so I figured I would ask the Unbiased experts here...
I was wondering what a good choice of round baler would be for behind a Case 400 diesel (50hp range). I would be selling the bales so perhaps whatever is more popular to buyers as far as size.

guy up here just sold his package,, used a 400 case and a Vermeer round baler,,cant recall the model on the baler,,I wanted the tractor, but not the rest,he sold tractor baler and a NH haybine, all like new shape for 5000..tractor had a loader on it ..Jim

4 X 5 bales are about the size that is best fit for trucks.(flat beds & trailers-2 bales wide) Also 2 bales perfect fit in 8-ft standard pick-up bed. If you want a real pretty bale that holds it's round shape til next spring, then something like a Krone or M&W baler would be ideal. These don't require much horsepower to do a nice job-less moving parts & user friendly.

Thanks for the info. About all we have left up here in northern wisconsin around me is beef and horse farms but thanks for the help so far. Any benefits drawbacks to modles listed that outway one versus the other? thanks again....

Pretty good examples so far. You would probably want a smaller baler for that hp. 4x4 or 4x5. There were a few 4x6 balers, you can make a 4x4 or whatever with them. This would allow you to make smaller or medium sized, as the Case may be. ;)

Size will depend on your market. Horse people prefer small square, but will buy some small round bales. Cattle people will probably want as large as possible.
