I would like to purchase a Case Plow. Looking for a 2 bottom manufactured between the mid 40's to early 50's to go with my 1950 Case DC. I need help on how to identify if the the plow is truly a Case or another brand and the approximate age. Is there a serial number plate, location of the plate, something significant about the structure, etc. I have a 2 point hydralic lift on the the tractor, did they make a plow to fit this. I would appreciate any information or help.

The DC was a 3 plow tractor, and yes they made a trailer plow and also a plow for the eagle hitch. I have a 2 bottom eagle hitch plow and an uncle had a 3 bottom eagle hitch plow. The trailer plows are seen at local auctions once in a while, but it has been a long time since I seen an eagle hitch plow listed. I'm not sure what the model number is since mine is stored away, but I should know later in the week. I'll let you know what I find.

The one I have uses a category 1 three point hitch. The moldboards have a Case part number stamped in them. The rest has been painted too many times to see any original decals or painted identifiers.

I'd expect to may be find a Case eagle on plows of the vintage you seek.
