I have a IH planter that was taken off of a 4 or 6 row planter and made into a 1 row. I do not know the model number or the year. It has several sets of plates with it and I would like to know which plate is used each crop. The plate numbers are as follows, COX-24(red), C12-24(blue), C2X-24(burgundy),CIX-24(orange),476675RI(white), and 622240R2(metal). If anyone knows what kind of plates any of these are please let me know.

Thanks,

Boyd Nelms

Fielders Choice puts out a free pamphlet titled "Guide for Planter Plates" and it has just about all the info you could ever need.

The first 4 are Lustran numbers. Go to the lincoln ag products site, they have a spreadsheet with all the numbers for each type of crop. Those all look like corn plates to me but you'll have to check to be sure. The other numbers are IH numbers, and someone with a manual will have to look them up. If I remember I'll dig out my manual when I go home and look them up.

Can you point me in the right direction for that lincol site? I've been doin some searches and can't find it. That info would be real nice to have on hand. Thanks.
