I bought a pile of parts at an auction because there was some good stuff in there that I needed. There were also some things I don't need and now I would like to sell. This piece is one of them. I'd like to know what it's from so I can market it intelligently. It looks to me like a belt guard from a 3 point hay rake, but I'm really not sure. The color kind of says "New Holland" to me. What to you guys think? It's about 5' long and about 20" wide at the wide end. I can't find any numbers stamped in it anywhere. Anyone recognize it? Post replies here or email me direct. Thanks!

I doubt if it would have much value as apparently someone thought it was not worthwhile to put back on. I have a couple such pieces on the ground by my machine shed. One is belt guard from baler and one from disc mower.

Hey Jim Ut.....

Rake - maybe, won't say its not..... .. but the cover on my JD650 is no where close to 5', more like 3'(if that -- Questions like this makes a fellow wonder "why", he hasn't paid more attention to the small details of his equipment!!!)& is of different configuration.

Your picture, with reference to the 5' length, more resembles 1/2 of the belt cover on my ole pz cutter..... ....

might be a front/back side, of a two piece cover????? off a cutter or moco??

& the yellow color..... is it NH or JD yellow (can't tell & wouldn't offer a guess from the 'puter picture)??

Garry
