I have been looking at an old New Idea tractor drawn manure spreader. I was wondering how much to offer the farmer for it? The wood is all poor and the floor is completely rotted out. Has no beaters, drive chains, etc. Tires are fair but are regular car tires. Tongue is bent. I would really appreciate any help.

The question is what will he pay you to take it?

Last year I sold a John Deere 2 wheel ground driven spreader with good wood, paint, and new apron for $100.00 (one hundred)! Just wanted to get it off a distant vacant farm before it got stolen. Value for anything is just what the owner and you agree upon.

Martin; One in that shape is not worth anything,it is scrap. Like other fellow said wrong tires for New Idea. I have one for sale if interested thou if that would help you out. Very good usable unit. 4wheeler been converted to tractor pull.

Rick, how much and where are you located? Should I offer the farmer anything for it? I want to get it. Thanks.

I dought you are looking at a New Idea, they carried a 24" wheel so could not have car tires on. Spreader with no beaters, usless.
