IH 56 planter parts

does anybody know of a source to find parts for my 56 planter, i need two parts for my fertileizer hoppers, the drives and the brackets that hold the coulters, i also need the metal fertilizer drops for the bottom of the hopper, thanks , derek

There is one really cheap on ebay right now, maybe it would be better to buy an entire planter for parts if it's cheap enough.

Around here, everyone calls Salem Farm Supply for IH parts. From what they tell me, they were a pretty big IH dealer back when there still was IH. They are located in Salem NY, if you do a search, they should pop up. Hope it helps.

Have you tried Case/NH dealers yet? If not there it will probably have to be scrap yard search and alot of phone calling. The last option would be a machine shop but, they will be pricey to make just one or two pieces. Good luck.
