A guy here in North Texas has a 48inch roto tiller, 48 inch belly mower, 48 tandem disk plow, 48 inch cultivator for sale for $1200.00. The tiller has the name Sabre on it. I presume this is a good deal on implements for me to use with my 850 Ford tractor. How about that brand of Tiller? Anybody have any input on that one?

These peices of equipment sound like reasonably priced. Sounds like the seller had small tractor. I agree with the posts that say your tractor might be better suited with a tad bit bigger equipment. I always said to run a little bit bigger tractor (with implements of the right size of coarse) than what you really need. But no sense in buying a complete line of equipment that is a shade bit small for the tractor. Not sure what to tell ya there. I guess just be careful not to tear the implements up with the extra horse power if you decide to get them and use them on this tractor.

The Sabre name was used by John Deere on a lower cost line of L&G equipment they sold for a while. I've got one of the last Sabre lawnmowers made, pretty solid, very well built.

'Sabre' name? Home Depot brand name for Lawn and Garden tractors, painted green? Sounds like recent 20-30 hp garden tractor equipment, not real heavy duty farm tracter tools. RN

You might get the tiller if its cheap enough. Your tractors not really a tiller tractor because of too fast of ground speed and not a live pto. You have a big working tractor and most of the items are small at 4 foot. You tractor can easily work implements in the 5-8 foot range depending on the implements. Its not really a belly mower tractor unless you want it to be solely a belly mower, then if you did it it would probably be better at 5-6 foot. Like Mguy said they might be worth $300 a piece but not to you.
