Looking at Buying a Vermeer 604 Super F. I have never put up round bales is this a good choice? I have a 105 hp tractor so I won't have a hp problem. Any thing to look out for? What would this baler be worth?

Depending on what the belts look like around $4500.

To my knowledge we never sold the 604 Super F. We did sell the 605 Super F and the 605H. If the rubber starter roller flaps are showing their cords they need replacing. You may want to update to the closed loop hydraulic system like the H balers have if your baler has the old block valve system. We have an aftermarket kit that is around $125 that updates the baler. Those F balers sometimes need the cushion valve replaced. Call us and we can tell you how to check it. 423-282-6969 ask for Bill Lee.
