farmi log skidder attachment

i am waitng for info from farmi. has anyone used these 3pt skidders before? are there other brands available?
i plan on using it on a jd3020.

I am with smirkey, I hate going to the woods with out one. I too like the Fransgard over the Farmi. Norse, Hakmet/Igland and Hardy are other makes available in this area. I prefer cable choakers to chain, too hard to push a chain. Lots of front ballast and good chains are a must. Stay safe. Roy

thanks, now i have lots to compare.
i use chain and cable chokers. i made a chain fish from 3/8 hard bar and welded a hook on the end, i push it under the log and pull the chain back through.
i spent some time last spring working with a friend as winch monkey hooking up logs behind his timberjack. ever since i have been looking for that type of set up for my tractor. up until last week i was working on an electric winch on a backblade idea but these seem much better.

i use a Fransgard 4000. very similar. hitched to a farmall 656. its hard to imagine going back to tractor skidding without one. easier, and less damage in the woods. i paid about 2300.
