I am looking at a 224T, it is a PTO model and is in great shape. I dont bale more than 2000 bales a year. I am looking for a replacement for my NH Super 66. I want something that will work for the next 10-15 years with proper maint. I dont mind older equipment as long as it works good. Any body have any comments on how good of a baler the 224T is? What are they going for around the country now? they are asking $1200 for this, but I don't want to put more than $1000 into my next baler. Thanks

Thanks for the offer, but I am in Oregon. I keep looking for bailers that are sound and in my price range. This seems like it might be in my range and be a quality machine. Ted

Ted; Just for your info if this helps. I have a neighbor who wants to sell JD 14t $450.00. been sitting in shed last years but worked fine when last used. The 224t I would not be afraid of thou

Most everything I've heard or read about them is positive. It's the HD version of the 24T. I'm still running a 14T that I'd bet has done 100 k+ bales. I doubt you'll ever wear it out! I'd buy it in a minute. $1200 bucks is about 3-5% of a new one. HTH.
