Has any one purchased any of these lately?
Apx how much are they getting for them?
I am trying to grease mine but they are so rusted that its almost imposable to get them loose.
I migh have to get a nut cracker on them.

Hey Kelly,
Well, I'm in the process of doing a major job on my 56 New Holland. Replaceing all tine bar bearings, dust covers, nuts, washers, one of the leveling arms, and a few other parts. Painting it in the process of doing all of this and will have to do my other 56 NH rake after this one. Can't have one painted and the other not now can I??? I just came in from the shop and have been painting on it alittle, going to get the part in the morning, bearings when I called a couple weeks ago were $29.99(approx)each. Looking at roughly 400.00 to 500.00 to be spent on the rake and then new tires. She is gonna look good! Will post a pic on implement photos when I get done with her and then the whole rake hitch with both rakes when I get done with it all.

If they are the same as the 56 and 256 I bought 20 last fall for 24.99 each from my NH dealer.

They are not the same as a 56/256. If anyone can purchase them for under $30.00, you better buy a bunch. New Holland's suggested retail price is over $35.00. Steve

That's what I like about Big 3, they will deal on price. I drive by 3 other NH dealers to shop with them. When I bought my 256 new in 2000 they sold it to me for $3800. Range of NH dealers within 100 miles of me was up to 4500 for the same rake.
