JD Plow, what kind?

I have an old bottom plow that I do not know exactly what it is. Posted a picture over in implement photos and help identify sections, I will try to attach the URL to bounce over there. The only marks that I can find on it are on the sides of the bottom plow where it has SYRACUSE and then below that AD160F. What I thought I was looking for was a wheel, but Tim(nj) said it would actually be heavy cast furrow wheel. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance,
DJC from MI

It is a no. 44 H, if it measures 13" across the beams it is a small frame plow that is adjustable for 12" or 14" bottoms, if it measures 15" it is a large frame and is a 14" 0r 16" plow and they only used a pressed steel tail wheel, any 12" rubber tire tail wheel will probably work if you still have the hub.

That is a No. 44H plow with syracuse bottoms on it. There should be a number on those bottoms like 1441 the small 14" bottom, 1451 the big 14" bottom, 1450 is a 16" bottom, and 1442 is a 12" bottom. those numbers will be on the back of the share or on the back of the moldboard.

The number that I found was 1442F. The next question would be where could I go to try to find a furrow wheel?

It's a pressed steel tail wheel on those plows and the same wheel was used for a lot of years on those trailer plows and the three point hitch plows. The rubber tire tail wheels go on the same hub also.
