Hello Warren
Missed you at dodgeville. Lost your email. Please get back in touch. The round balers all went high. For that matter all the balers went high.

Bob,

Yep I was there, I looked for you, but couldn't pick you out of the crowd. I asked several guys with camo jackets if they were you, they looked at me like I was speaking greek!
Anyway, I really appreciate the information that I got from you before the sale. I ended up getting the New Holland 845 for $1350. I know that may have been on the high side, but I doubt that I can get away from work for another auction soon and I figured the balers will only go higher once we get close to the hay season.
You are right about the round balers going high. I thought the New Idea belt balers were way high. I knew that the newer New Holland models would be out of my price range.
I got the 845 home and checked it out. I greased and oiled it up and checked it out. It seems to be in pretty good shape mechanically. The sheet metal is a little rusty, but the chains and pickup all seem to be in good shape. The floor is not rusty - after I cleaned all the dirt out of it! The main chain seems to be in really good shape - I think it may have been replaced not too long ago.
I have ordered the book from New Holland and hope to get it this week.
Thanks again for your help.

Warren
