What can you guys tell me about a NH 315 square baler? I think I'm pretty interested in finding one. Are there any available for sale in Ohio?

Thanks
jj

We had one for many years and it was a good baler. The only fault was that people I knew who had one with a thrower had drive line problems. They claimed the driveline was too light to hanlde the thrower. Yesterday I was at an auction and saw a two year old New Holland baler with thrower go for $18,500 CDN.

I have had my 315 for the past 2 seasons. It's only missed one bale--and that's because I ran it out of string! It's been really great. My previous baler tied about 2 out of 10 and the one's it did tie you had to handle like they were made of glass. Not so with the 315. I only have a 28 horse tractor. No problems.

JJ, check the following: Krystowski Tractor Sales

Jim Maurer

Wellington, Ohio, 44090

You can find the same information by going to New Holland North America's web site and doing a search of used agricultural equipment by state if you want. I have a 315 that I have used for some years for 6-8000 bales a year with few problems.....Good luck

I saw Krystowski has 2 of them. Went to an auction yesterday that had a super nice one go for 5900. We're running an allis 303 right now, it's been a great baler. Miss ties every now and then. Mostly just wanting something reliable with a lot more capacity. If you here of anything else keep me posted. Thank you!
