I was plowing snow through the field to the woods and was thinking today wouldn't it be nice if it were spring and I were pulling a 4 bottom instead of a backblade. I am just about sick of winter this year. Was wondering if anybody else has the same feelings. Snow here today was probably 14-16 inches deep. Ugh!

The frost is going out in Mo.Drove over to the pond to check the ice. Driving over was no problem, driving back was. Almost had to go get the 70 JD to pull the 4x4 back. Now will have to due a little dirt work when it drys. Russ

Come on Spring!
I have been ready for spring since the first cold spell back in Oct.

Ditto on ready for spring.

I'm about out of propane for heating, so HURRY UP!
I like to fill in July when the price is typically lower. Next year I just need to buy a little more.
I don't know what the price is, but the futures have been pretty flat since last summer.

Thank God we don't have the snow that some of you enjoy. I like to see the pictures of it on TV with you guys and your plows though:) We only had one little "ice event" so far, but I'm so sick and tired of all the mud from all the COLD rain we've had that I'm about to go mad and bite myself. My old bones are happy only when I'm sweating!

I agree 100%! I used to look forward to winter, but now that I've aged somewhat I think that I'd rather sweat than shiver! Brrrrr

The thing about heat is you can "take it off" and if that doesn't do the trick, jump in the lake.

With cold you just stay cold.

I hear you. Here in Missouri it has thawed and we now have mud everywhere. I drive an 18 wheel feed truck for a commercial turkey operation and I was cutting ruts a foot deep just going up the gravel roads getting into the farms.

Ditto -
Planted sweet peas 2 wks ago. Just got done planting 1/2 acre of red spuds this morning (2/21). Going back out after breakfast to plant some apple, peach and plum trees.

Then this afternoon taking my boys catfishing!

Downside of all this is summers are sweltering - still not used to the humidity despite living here a LONG time.

Thinking of y'all :)
