Gooday Out There,
Had a fire at our local museum. Burned an IHC McCormick Deering Hand Tie Square Hay Baler. Need a picture of the wooden connection between the two halves of the plunger that pushes the hay down into the compression chamber. Also looking for copies of a manual and /or parts listing for this 1930s machine. We hope to have it going again soon. The fire burned three straw thatched wooden post buildings and contents worth roughly Au$100000 PLUS.

I do have a Blue Ribbon Shop Manual for it, would have to hunt for it, I do make photo copies of my manuals for people at cost as I don't have the finances to do it for free, Lester (Leroy) Helmlinger, Wapakoneta, Ohio USA

Jeff:
I found the parts lists on IH stationary balers there are 3 models made between 1907 & 1948 that may be yours. A one-horse & a 2 hores (toggel - jointed) Also one made from 1939 t0 1949. If you email me directly at and either send a picture of yours or the model I will copy the pages you need.
