Gophers are real bad in my neck of the woods this year. Had to spring for a gopher poisoner. Does anyone have a recommendation for what poison bait I should use. Pellets or grain? Kind of poison that it is spiked with? I appreaciate the forum and knowledge that I get from it. Thanks

we use nh3, open a hole, put nozzel down, pack dirt around it, turn on nozzel, quick and easy and cheap, most dens and tunnels are hooked together, gets several in one shot

The Levee Boards in LA use poison to control gophers.Try calling the Caddo Parish Levee Board or the LSU AG Center

My Dad had the best luck with the pellets.

The only poison that works is a rifle. It may take some time, but one shot is all it takes.

poison for gophers is a waste of money. The only way to get them is to trap them. They are easy to trap but take a bit of work. Done correctly it takes between 5 to 15 minutes to have them and feed them to the cat. It is one of the great treats of "hunting".
