I have what I think is a Wagner tube front end loader. It is on my 1959 ford 621 workmaster. I would like to change or modify the lift cylinders to have hydraulic down as well as the up it already has.

1-It there a way to do that?
2-Does anyone have 2 way lift cylinders that might work for that type of front loader?

You need to find lift cylinders of the same size- diameter and length of stroke, that are made for two-way operation. You need a two-way valve to operate them. Best if you can find a valve that can be set for power up, power down, and float. Without float, the cylinder goes down and stays there, even if your front wheels are going up and down on uneven terrain. Float is great for following the ground level- otherwise you dig in when you don't want to.
