I have a old horse drawn tedder. Is anyone out there knowledgible about these? Who madse them. What colour were they usually, when were they built???

one company made for IHC & JD both plus some others exactly the same except paint, havent yet identified the manufactorer

they work pretty good if you go slow and the wind ain't blowin'. I have never seen one painted.

NEB, Got a kick out of that. Even when we were actually using them back in the 50s I don't remember seeing paint on them. Same with "dump" rakes. LOL

Lots of companies made hay tedders, so without more information it would be impossible to help you. Look for part numbers or paint on the under side if a brace. Then re post with more info.
