2 furrow ploughs for 25 hp tractor

I have a Leyland 154 tractor , and I'm trying to find 3pt hitch ploughs , implements in general , for this size tractor.
Does anyone still make them ?.

Rob, are you in the British Isles or down in Oz?
There should be tons of used Fergie 2 bottom plows avail in Britain and down in Melbourne, IH had a big plant. Should be a lot equiptment available. Your machine will easily handle a 2 bottom.

TSC sells an one bottom and a two bottom plow priced $259 & $459. TSC also sells several 4 ft,. disc from $800 down. I checked all this early this week.

Not familliar with a Leland, but you have to be careful ... A Late JD "B" will pull 2x14" plow ( IF the tread is good, and there is some load in the tires).. Not many Newer 25 horse tractors would pull that much...look at all the "25 Horse" Riding Mowers there are...!!! You may need to be looking for some weights, or loading the tires..not a bad idea anyway for stability...

I know what you mean Ron , but the leyland 154 is like the little Fergie , and has a 4 cylinder diesel engine , and this tractor has a FEL , so it has a bit of weight on it , particularly for a 3pl implement.

I saw several plows at the farm Equipment dealer today. But be careful, I have a 2 bottom IH trip plow but the shares are really hard to find for them. I have heard that AC plows are the same way. Tractor supply Company once sold Plows for small tractors but I don't know that they still do. Small disk are still made also but if you are just going to till gardens then a 48 inch 3 point tiller would work best. But not on a 5 or 10 acre field.

Leinbach makes a new 2-14" plow, and 3-point disks. IH Super Chief parts are easy to find (1-piece throwaway shares). IH Plow Chief parts have availability issues (these are the short share with the separate point).

Maybe you could find a 1 bottom plow. Many companys made them & probably still do.
