You may be able to obtain orange and green paint through your NI dealer, as I did when I repainted a 201 spreader and 323 corn picker a few years ago. I am unaware if any automotive stores handle these paint colors. The letters on the side of the box were probably put on at the factory using stencils. Your dealer may have a set around (hopefully). Do you know what model spreader you have?

GUESSING probably green on angle iron andother frame parts. Galvanized sheet metal parts. The corn pickers were this color.

Just saw a NI spreader at a sale. It had a wood box. The angle and channel frame parts were green, as were the beaters, wide spread and hitch. The wood body was orange. New Idea was spelled out in block letters in green on the orange body. There was a sheet metal shield missing from the beater drive, assume that was green as well. Didn't see any galv. parts on this spreader. The wheels were orange.

I agree with Tim, the old ones around here were just as he described...
