I also have a John Deere Model WH 76, which means 7 foot 6 inches; has 10 disks of 9 inch spacings = 90 inches (hence the 76). Your disk must have 7 disks in each gang on 9 inch spacing, hence 53 = five foot 3 inches or 63 inches. I am completely rebuilding mine, hav it in many many pieces now. My JD dealer has parts lists in the computer and most stuff is still available. What are you looking for?? The Model WH were made from about 1956 up into the 60s; not sure when production stoped. Mine is made in Canada and is Serial Number 02. They came with ball bearings with repalceable triple seals, and then some came with the old "white iron bearings" which just kind of a sleeve thing. Mine has the ball bearings. Post back.

Ron, The half spools you are talking about have a "short" end and a "long end". JD calls them "Sleeve, bearing, short" or "Sleeve, bearing, long" The parts list my JD dealer printed out for me shows; short = DT-52-W for one spool size and W-10756-W for the other spool size. Long DT-53-W or W-10755-W. My JD dealer has complete part lists in the computer for this harrow. The printouts say "(PC536) Model WH Wheel-Type Offset Disk Harrow". Don't know why your JD dealer is having problems, mine is Saginaw Implement in Rhome Texas 817-430-1165 and ask for Charlie, tell him that Tom Fletcher referred you to him. Let me know if you still can't find out anything.

I've not even heard of that model, but Shoup has a lot of disk parts. They are on the web, I often get blocked if I try to post the web site here.
